Painting Area
During Open Studio hours you can paint a variety of ceramic, wood, or canvas projects. We also offer step-by-step canvas painting classes for those who want more instruction. You can even BYOP (bring your own project) to use our brushes and make a mess on our paint tables instead of your own at home during Open Studio times!
Fabric Corner
During Open Studio hours you can rent our sewing machines or bring your own and use our tables, cutting tools, and pressing station to work on your projects. Plus you can shop for cotton fabrics, thread, patterns and notions! We also offer step-by-step classes to make small projects and quilt tops for those who want a more guided experience.
Yarn Corner
During Open Studio hours you can shop for yarn, tools and patterns plus you can bring your project in to get help or just use our big table space to work! Or come join our Sit and Stitch group that meets every other Monday night from 6-8 for some fun and fellowship while you stitch! We also offer step-by-step beginner classes to make small knit and crochet projects like dishcloths and hats when there is interest!

My name is Rachel and I am the owner and main instructor at A Time to Craft. I spent 10 years teaching elementary music, then decided to change directions and open a place where people could learn new skills and hobbies, get together to fellowship, and just have a safe space to create in.
A Time to Craft opened in 2019, and re-opened in our new location in 2023. I look forward to crafting with you soon!
